Theme - Environment

• Deliver a speech on any one of the topics listed below. All topics concern major environmental problems that the world faces today.
• Your objective is to convince the judges that your topic concerns a problem on which immediate action has to be taken. Imagine yourself presenting your speech at the UN General Assembly or Climate Summit, for example.
• Topics :  Deforestation, Global Warming/Climate Change, Overpopulation, Spread of Communicable Diseases (eg: COVID-19, Bird Flu), Air Pollution, Waste Management, Illegal Wildlife Trade and Water Scarcity.

 Guidelines

• The time limit for your age category is 2 minutes 30 seconds.
• You must recite your speech from memory. You can keep a Cue card in your hand.
• Costumes and physical props are allowed; Background Audio-video not allowed
• Most of the above topics are related to each other (deforestation and global warming, for example). You can include points common to both topics, but make sure your main points are about your chosen topic.

 Prizes
