Challenge
Prepare a Persuasive speech of 3 minutes on any one of the given topics.
Your goal is to persuade the judges about the position that you have taken on your chosen topic.
Topics
Is Net Neutrality a good thing or a bad thing?
Should the death penalty be abolished?
Should mobile phones be allowed in schools?
More people should carpool or use public transportation
Should human cloning be allowed?
Should Pluto still be considered a planet?
Should teenagers be allowed to play violent video games?
Registration Fee
Registration Fee is ₹ 499 per speaker.
Eligibility
Open for all 12-15 year olds born between 2005 and 2008.
Schedule
Feedback round - 21st May, Thursday,
11 am - 1 pm
Live-stream final - 24th May, Sunday,
11 am - 1 pm
Prizes
Top 10 speakers will advance to The Finale which will be live-streamed on our Facebook page
Finale - 1st prize: ₹ 2500; 2nd prize: ₹ 1500; 3rd prize: ₹ 1000.
All Finalists receive certificates and secure points on the Leaderboard which will be used to invite the top speakers across the country to the inaugural Melio Championship (TBA)
