The Greatest Indian!
Choose ANY Indian personality ( alive or dead ) and persuade the judges that your chosen personality deserves to be called the Greatest Indian! Needless to say, you'll need to build your case with facts, sound reasoning and of course, through your oratory skills !
We've given a sample list of personalities below - your choice can be from these or anyone else you think deserves this title.
Dr. BR Ambedkar
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam
P.S. - We've excluded Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation from this list on purpose, because that would be too easy, wouldn't it ? :)
- Scoring will be done on Effectiveness, Speech content, Body language and Voice modulation.
- Students must recite their speech from memory. You can keep an Index card for reference.
- Physical props are allowed, but no audio-video allowed in the background.
- You can give an Introduction of yourself if you wish to. It won’t be counted in the total time, as long as it is less than 10 seconds.
- You can repeat your speech and chosen personality from the qualifier round to the final.
We assign you an age category based on how old you are on the date of registration. For example : Your date of birth is 3rd August 2008.
